Our Youth Ministries . . .
Teenage culture is different today than it has ever been. Time Magazine recently published an article about how teens just simply don’t want to grow up. Our teen culture is beginning to see a shift towards laziness, immaturity, and childish ungodly ways. Our goal at Neuse Baptist Church is to train our young adults toward maturity and adulthood. We will discuss practical issues such as What is God’s will for my life?, How do I know who I should marry?, What type of music should I listen to?, and Why is church important? We understand here at Neuse that our teens of today are our church leaders of tomorrow and we seek to bring them to God’s Word and teach them His truths. Our youth staff and pastoral staff are dedicated to producing good, godly teenagers who will impact this world for Christ.

We teach our students to wear modest God-honoring clothing in all that they wear. This principle applies to Wednesday night Bible studies as well as any activity that is a part of Neuse Baptist Church.
Teen group meets every Wednesday night from 7:00pm - 8:15pm. We also have middle school and high school Sunday School classes that meet at 10am.
Wednesday night Teen Hour is located in the youth room which is adjacent to the sanctuary.
Yes! We have a Wednesday afternoon soul winning program that meets in the teen room every Wednesday from 3:00-6:45pm. During this time we have a short devotion and then load up and go soul winning and out to eat. We will always be back by the time teen group begins. We also have other activities going on throughout each month. Some past activities have included: trip to Comedy Worx, the Amazing Race, Where’s Waldo?, Soup kitchen ministry, Soul Winning Saturday, Widows’ Luncheon, King’s Dominion, lock-ins, skating, bowling, and much more! When you come to a NBC teen group activity be prepared to have an awesome time! In order to participate in some activities you need to have a current Release Form.
You should bring a great attitude, worshipful spirit, a Bible, and a pen.
You should expect a great time of fellowship, snacks, worshipful God-honoring music, and teaching from God’s word.
During the summer our teens make a trip to The Wilds Christian Camp in Brevard, NC. This is a time where they can get away from the world and focus on the Word. Also, we go on a mission trip once every 2 years. We normally rotate between a U.S. missions trip and an out of the country missions trip. Last year our teens went to Washington, D.C. to help Evangelist Dave Kistler and H.O.P.E. Ministries. We also have tons of activities happening during our summer months!
