Honoring Kay Hill
We Honor Kay Hill for 48 years of faithful service to Neuse Baptist Church
Sunday March 20th is a very special day for Neuse Baptist and for Kay Hill. We take time on this day to honor the faithfulness of Kay and his 48 years of service as Music Minister.
Kay has been a Godly example for thousands of individuals as while ministering in worship as well as every day. This man exemplifies unselfishness and servanthood in all he does, and he truly exhibits the love of God in his life.
Now, as Bro. Kay has more time to devote to Faith Promise Missions, we pray that God will continue to bless him and Venica and keep them safe in His loving arms.Thank you, Venica, for sharing Kay with us all these years, and thank you, God, for sending your servant to Neuse Baptist Church.
Please see Kay's bio and the current desire of his heart below, as it appears on our Staff page:
Kay Hill, Sr. - Director of Missions
I trusted Christ as my Savior on November 11, 1944 in Saint Joseph, Missouri. I am a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, class of 1955. My wife, Venica, and I celebrated our fiftieth wedding aniversity in 2003. We are the parents of twin sons, Kay and Clay.
I am a fourth generation cabinetmaker. We have a family business, Kay & Sons Woodworks, which I founded in 1972. My sons are currently running the business, providing me the opportunity to travel to Baptist churches all over America, motivating them to do more for missions.
It has been my pleasure to serve the Lord as music director of Neuse Baptist Church for forty-eight years. Additionally, I have served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. In 1969, I was inspired by the musical presentation, “So Send I You”. As a result, I committed to aid missionaries in their efforts to reach their field.
I have been involved in Faith Promise Giving for forty-seven years. As a layman, it is my burden to challenge others in the joy of giving. The Lord has opened many doors over the years to share this burden. My desire is to spend the rest of my life encouraging churches to see the need of sending others around the world to share the Gospel. I have visited the mission fields of the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, and Mexico. I’ve also had the opportunity to assist in the building of several churches. I have spoken in mission conferences all over the United States and in the Philippines.
Please prayerfully consider allowing me the opportunity to share with your congregation the joy of mission giving and sending.
